Customizing WaterReflection

To control look-and-feel, WaterReflection allows you to specify a large range of options as attributes in the XML configuration. It is best to look at the examples to see how these work. The following tables show the possible tags that you can use in WaterReflection, together with their attribute settings:

WaterReflection

background
Image for (static) background.

Examples: images/1.jpg,images/2.jpg

bgcolor
Color for background (if no background image is used).

Examples: #0000ff,#ff0000

fade
Whether to perform an alpha fade on the reflection.

Examples: true,false

frame
Frame to open link in.

Examples: _self,_top

href
Link to open on click.

Examples: http://www.google.com/,http://www.yahoo.com/

speed
How fast to move the waves.

Examples: 10,20

src
Image to reflect

Examples: images/1.jpg,images/2.jpg

strength
How high the waves are.

Examples: 30,60

Styles

It is often useful to apply the same attributes to a whole section of XML. In order to do so, you can include such attributes in the special <style> </style> tag. All of the attributes in the style tag are applied to the elements it contains.

External configuration files

You can also include external configuration files in your XML. To do this, use a tag like this: <include file="filename"/>
